At ADOTT Solutions, our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to clients worldwide from idea stage through development to implementing an entire assembly line for manufacturing. Recently, a delegation from our team embarked on a journey to India to work closely with one of our esteemed partners in the northern part of India. The mission? To orchestrate the setup of a manufacturing infrastructure and ensure seamless collaboration in developing cutting-edge products for hazardous environments.
Interviewees: Frida Kutasi, Tamás (Bebe) Besenyi, Tamás (Borisz) Kovács
Mechanical CAD engineer: with a degree in Industrial Design, Frida specializes in product industrial design and prototyping. For this project, she led the mechanical engineering aspects, designing the manufacturing process flow and quality assurance.
HW and embedded SW developer: Bebe is our seasoned expert in security technology and alarm systems. His role in this project involved developing the embedded software for the PCBs of the product range and ensuring their reliability and efficiency.
HW Developer: Borisz brings a wealth of experience in hardware development, particularly in high-speed digital signal transmissions and radio communications. For this project, he supported the setup of the manufacturing line remotely and then on-site.
ADOTT Solutions partnered closely with our Indian counterpart to develop a Remote I/O system for process control in hazardous environments. The purpose of the trip was to oversee the setup of manufacturing infrastructure and provide hands-on training for manual assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. Additionally, our team aimed to ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge to the partner’s team, enabling them to manage operations independently in the long run.
Setting up manufacturing infrastructure, even in your own country, presents its own set of challenges. However, establishing operations in a foreign country—especially one where you are entering for the first time—poses even greater hurdles. Apart from professional expertise, other essential skills come into play: resilience, effective communication, and trust in your team. From adapting to local working hours to embracing cultural differences, they tackled each obstacle head-on. The “just-in-time” problem-solving approach proved essential, as did the cultural exchange over chai breaks—a tradition they’ve happily brought back to Hungary.
Our efforts during the trip resulted in the successful setup of the manufacturing infrastructure, ready to be showcased to our partner’s client. Beyond this milestone, we made deeper connections with the local team from top management to bottom. The ongoing communication and collaboration continue, with plans for further developments and joint projects in the pipeline. Despite the geographical distance, our partnership remains strong (or even stronger than before), laying the foundation for future innovation and growth.
The journey to India was not just about business—it was a cultural exchange that left a lasting impact. From experiencing the warmth of our hosts’ hospitality to savoring the flavors of Indian cuisine, every moment was enriching. As the team returned home, they carry not only spices and recipes but also memories of meaningful collaboration.
The Statue of Unity beyond representing the unification of India is a perfect symbol of Indian engineering and technical capabilities for us.
